前置詞で終わるものもある

WH名詞節は強い味方

彼が何をしてる人なのか知らない
I don't know his occupation.（職業）
↓むしろ自然
I don't know what he does.

行き先が決まっていない
My destination has not been decided.

I don't know where I'm going to go.

「先方の反応は予測できない」
↓
I don't know what they're going to say.

「犯人は特定されていない」
↓
They don't know who did it.

「～かどうか」
過去は過去形、未来は未来形
→「もし」のifは未来のことを現在形で言う

「未来」を現在形で言う表現もある

It doesn't matter　　when you come.

WH名詞節は主語にもなる

What you're saying　　　is interesting.
What happened　　　　happened.（起こったことが起きた→起きたことはしょうがない）
（名詞節を主語にする場合、未来のことを現在形で言う）
Where we go　　　　　　is up to you.
（Who名詞節を主語にした場合Whoeverになる）
Whoever did it　　　　　should be honest.
